There are five government parks on Lake Bardwell, HighView Marina being the only marina on the lake and the only concessionaire on the lake. Camping reservations for Corp of Engineer Parks can be made by contacting the National Reservation Service at 1-877-444-6777 or www.ReserveUSA.com.

Before becoming owners of HighView Marina, Vic and I spent much time skiing and fishing on Lake Bardwell. After the high school graduation of 2 grandsons, both the same year, we came to Lake Bardwell with our camper and boat for some rest and relaxation. Vic drove the boat over to the marina on Saturday morning to get me some fishing license, and bought the marina. I promise you, that is how it happened.

Vic has since retired from the Dallas County Community College district after 30 years and I ending my career in the mental health field. SO THIS IS RETIREMENT!

We bought the marina in August of 2006, and have never been sorry for the decision.

We meet wonderful people everyday, and have made it our goal to:

Provide a clean and safe facility and environment for fishermen, boaters, slip renters, families and the public in general
To provide the supplies that are needed by our customers
To improve the grounds at the marina and make them a place of natural beauty
To greet each visitor with hospitality
To plan special events and holiday activities
To be a positive attribute to the community and to Lake Bardwell
To have our visitors and marina family love being here as much as we love being here.

We have made an investment in our future. We hope our investment will be enjoyed by everyone who comes to the marina. We work hard and have great plans for the marina.
